Wildkraft, LLC was founded by Dara Cheek, a botanical artist based outside of Boston, Mass.
Dara's passion for all things botanical began with nature walks as a toddler, was buoyed by woodland foraging hikes in Summer camp, college courses in medicinal plants and herbalism workshops as an adult. You can find nature everywhere in Dara's artwork, from the preserved mushrooms and moss in her wall-art, etched herb illustrations on her vessels and hand-sculpted clay flowers in her miniature terraria.
Wildkraft was created to be a place for all things that celebrate the natural world. Dara's artwork, and that of other talented botanical artists who create in fibers, metal, wood, and glass. Honey, bitters and balms from local artisanal makers, as well as unique live plants and preserved flowers.
Dara occasionally offers local workshops on creating with botanicals in the Greater Boston area.
